A farming family for many generations, we understand & believe in traditionally reared & butchered British meat. This is reflected in the menus in our restaurants; Sundays (est 2004) & of course BBQ Nights (est 2016) which offers our take on traditional American bbq recipes and techniques, using local produce.
Since May 2020 we have offered delivered 'ready to go meal boxes' monthly, & since January 2021 we have provided a more complete menu via 3rd party retailers. Now our main products are available weekly, nationwide, direct to you door (just click shop now).
We take care in the butchery & homemade dry rubs that season & protect the meats for smoking low and slow (up to 24 hours), over hickory & fruit wood in our multi-award winning Cookshack smoker, imported from the home of real BBQ - Oklahoma, USA. All the hard work & long smoke is done, all you have to do is heat (oven instructions provided or freestyle on your barbecue).
